Lions, Tigers, and Bears...oh my!
Time flies when your having fun, or so I've noticed as our moving day to Ottawa is coming fast. We have been trying to spend as much time with family as possible before we leave. Two days after coming home from Portland we headed off for the Calgary Zoo. My sister Ellie, her boyfriend Austin, My mom, Niece Taylee, and our little family of three all packed into the traditional big blue van for a real Bissett Family experience. I realized things haven't changed much when my mom whipped out the Ham sandwiches and expired treats as we bounced along seatbelt-less.

When we arrived at the zoo all the animals were dead. Jokes! But seriously, I wish they put these poor chicks in less obvious spots. It is one of those things that we know has to happen, but we wish we don't have to see.
The peacocks were not shy one bit this trip. I saw more of them than i had ever seen on any of my other zoo trips. I got missed by poop by an inch when we walked under a bridge with a peacock perched on top. lovely.

Zebras are amazing. They never cease to amaze me with their distinct pattern. I think it is a wonder how the black and white don't just blend to make a grey but keep their and grow in distinct lines and loops. I think God got pretty creative with creating the animals on this earth.
