Tradition...Tradition!!

Levi and I have decided to use some old family traditions, and also try to start our own. Since this Christmas is going to be a little more hectic than usual we have only come up with one tradition to start on our own. A snow globe collection! Since we don't have much spare money this year, we will get our first one next year. We can hardly wait! Oh the joys of being newly weds.
We adopted my parents tradition of buying a Christmas ornament every year for each of the kids. Since we only have one baby, a lone ornament hangs on the tree, almost making me want more kids for the sake of the tree. Poor little tree.

Spoiled Grateful

Our new couch! *sigh* After much trouble, the couch finally made it through our ever so tiny door and into our living room. This has been my "special spot" since i first sat in it at Ashley Furniture. It makes me feel so tiny and the comfort is superb. Levi and i feel so far away because his "ideal" spot is in the other corner by the Shay. I love Levi, but i also love my corner. Oh the dilemma....

Our living room is complete! We are realizing as we look around our house just how spoiled we are. We have never been so grateful to have the home we have,with the life we have, with the people we have.... AND with the couch we have! jk! But really.... We have never been happier. and yes....our Christmas tree only lights on one side. We usually just face the burnt out side to the back. Being newly weds, we are privileged enough to get that extra "artistic-ness" to our Christmas this year. (and probably next year too!)

Ready or Not

Its weird to think we only have 2 weeks left till Baby time. 2 weeks and 2 days to be exact! well that is if we stick to the due date) Levi asks me everyday if I'm in labour... I think he is getting a little anxious. For some reason in the back of my head i still think i have at least 2 more months or more! I'm still waiting for the effects of pregnancy to kick in because i still feel great and haven't really had any symptoms besides this pot belly i am sporting these days. No swelling, no sickness, and touching my toes is still feeling great! I'm such a boring pregnant little lady! I'm tempted to come up with stories when people ask me how I'm feeling to spice things up. Boring or not, Ready or not, Baby is coming and we are super excited!

Angus

When Mona and Darren went to Mexico we got to watch Angus. Yay! I love Angus! He was so fun to watch and I think I took more pictures with him than I had during our whole time being married. He found some pretty funny places to hide and i wish i could find some of the pictures i had taken, but they have magically disappeared. Darn! The pictures i did find still are pretty cute though. Every time i took a load of clothes from the dryer he would scurry on over and climb right in. He would sleep for hours and would not budge for anything! When i would go to fold the laundry i would find Angus's toys all hidden in there. I think he liked our clothes the best for sleeping because when i would come home from an outing i would have to go find him. He usually was curled up in my housecoat on the floor or in my hoodie.

Angus would always try to crawl into the fridge so we let him explore a couple of times. Once he licked the end of my cucumber that was the last of his fridge exploring. I had seen him lick himself just before...not cool.

Angus loved My exercise ball more than his little "Angus sized" ball. He would push it around the house. When i started seeing teeth marks in the ball that was the end of that fun.

A Sticky Situation

I've slowly been trying to cook my way through my unfamiliar cookbooks. Baking has not been my strong point in the past so i was not sure how my sticky buns would turn out. To my surprise, shock, and excitement...I CAN BAKE! I was so proud of myself I thought I deserved to have the middle one. (Everyone knows the middle bun is the best) They tasted Delicious.

I managed to make myself sick after i scraped all 3 pans of their sticky goodness. I've learned my lesson, Next time ill just eat the 1 pan.

Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year. Finding Costumes was easier than i thought for Josh and Shayla's Halloween party. I went as a Pregnant Skeleton and Levi went as a dead zombie. We had a ton of fun and ate an uncomfortable amount of food.....as usual.

Levi and Josh make a good team in rock band. I usually feel bad for not wanting to play but with Josh looking especially feminine i thought it would make up for my lack of participation.

This would be our scary Halloween faces. How terrifying!

Levi did an amazing job with painting out our baby. It was almost cute looking...almost.
