Ketchup

Emery was excited to read all the notes Dad left her before he went to work early morning on her birthday. She put herself to work taking them all down and stacking them neatly in a pile. Best present ever. So happy to be woken up on her birthday. Now that she is one, picking her nose seems to be the thing to do. Mckaya didn't seem to impressed.
The kids enjoyed Aunt Ellie's pet snake as birthday entertainment. And a warm glass of milk finishes off a busy birthday. Happy birthday little Em. This is the morning I found Emery had learned to take her clothes off. I dread the day she figures out her diaper. mmm keys.

Emery, and her daddy, just love the new cell phone.

Traditions traditions traditions. Oh how that little tree brings on some Christmas EveBissett memories.

Like mother, like daughter.

Lets play a little catch up because, lets face it, I've kinda failed at the whole hot bloggity blog thing lately. It doesn't just stop at the blogging either. My camera is collecting dust, i haven't eaten a vegetable in 2 days, and Emery's is looking a little tickle deprived. And we all know what happens when Emery is having a tickle famine. She becomes crazy. Only wearing red, eating nuttella by the spoonful, and sleeping in sunglasses. Its depressing isn't it? Well have no fear because super Haybales is back with vengeance. I'm ready freddy to fill you in on all our new adventures. But before we can get to all the good stuff, like my next blog on cheez wiz (bless its little heart) you must enjoy all these pictures that are just bursting with joy to finally be seen. In this mumble jumble of pictures there is Christmas, Emery's birthday bash, and whole collection of cuteness. Sorry i hid all of these Tolman crazies till now and check back later for the world's fastest growing baby bump and pictures of our new home! Laterz.

The grinch

Not only does Emery dislike our Christmas tree, she is terrified. Levi and I however, can not get enough of Christmas so we decorated our home with magic Nov 3. That early? Of course not! On our calendar it posts we should have done it on the first so in all actuality....we are late. So take that all you grinchies, Scrooges, and Halloween lovers! Emery, not so sure about the Christmas angel.

Our snow globe collection. Small now, but we hope to get a new one (or two!) each Christmas season.

Emery admiring the tree after finishing watching us decorate it. I don't understand how two people who are impossibly obsessed with Christmas created such a Grinch.

Spiderman Band aids

Once upon a time I was a bad mom. Read it and weep people, because it is true. Humming while scrubbing crusty dishes while our precious baby plays at my feet is usually a calming activity. However, grating little fingers on sharp cheese graters is not. Emery is getting smart, as most of you know, and has discovered how to explore the cupboards. I didn't noticed her trail of blood across her face, clothes, and kitchen until she climbed up my pant leg and smiled at me. At least she didn't seem to notice either. It was terrifying seeing her finger pump blood for a good 10 min. After Cold tap water, 4 soaked band aids, and two drenched paper towels, we finally got the bleeding to stop. Poor little fingers!

For all those boo boos on both big and little fingers, i suggest a Spiderman band aid because......"In the chill of night, At the scene of a crime, Like a streak of light, He arrives just in time!"

Halloween

Halloween this year was creepy, creeping up on us like that. In true form of my mother I whipped something up within the hour for Emery's cousin Tristan's birthday party. I'm starting to realize the grief us 8 children caused my mom the night before Halloween. I remember wailing and rolling on the floor because I didn't have a costume the night before the school parade. My mother, being a handy lady, slipped me into a "springed toy tunnel",popped two little strainers on some glasses, and situated a red toque on my noggin. Tada! A worm.
Emery, being the patient little nugget she is, didn't mind me shoving her into her newborn Tu-Tu, and putting on some ballet slipper looking socks. Tada! A ballerina.

For trick-or-treating mama Bissett conveniently had a skunk costume at her house just Emery's size. See...I told you she was magical with the whole costume thing.

My good friend, Ariah, and her her son Kyden took Emery and I trick-or-treating around our crescent. It was quite fun to take my own chicklet around for the first time. I could get used to this.
After a great evening with grandma and grandpa Peterson, filled with Darren's famous wings, handing out candy, and eating to many sweets, we headed to Raymond
Ellie, my sister has a boyfriend. That's nice isn't it? They were Jack and Jill for Halloween. That's nice too.
Jill fetched a pail of Emery. Which is disappointing because I`m still thirsty after eating all our candy.
This was our stash of sweet cavity causing goodness. The picture below is Emery`s stash. If Emery was the only one who went trick or treating, where did all our candy come from?
