The Princess And The Pea

Have you read the Sweedish fairy tail? Its a classic and has nothing to do with this blog. But…it does make a lovely title to some Easter memories!  Just go with it…

Easter weekend begins with the ritual of ridding ourselves of our diets and eating  countless hot crossed buns.  (but if we were counting, I had 9)We feasted on slaughtered pig, salads, and dill pickles.  We all gained more than gratitude this year. We then rolled ourselves on outside and scurried around like field mice, searching for prices and treats. And good news everybody, nobody noticed I ate all the good stuff.

After a “good” Friday (I’m hilarious!) we shuffled on over to Saturday where stuffed and hunted once again.  Seriously, it never gets old. On our way home we stopped to sample some Tidmarsh puppies. Delectable!

Fact is, Pepsi tastes better out of a straw, and Easter even better the 3rd time. My heart skipped, toes danced, and my ears wiggled, as i paparazzi-ed an overjoyed curly head. Emery filled her basket, mouth, and Milo, as she weaved herself up the stairs and into the pantry.  Jackpot! Three hunts, Three cheers! Hazzah! Hazzah! Hazzah!

Not satisfied with just the outfit Milo? This girl moved and grooved her way into Emery’s treaties, helping herself to a satisfying breakfast.  She pukes up everything I feed her, but keeps down Cadbury mini eggs down just fine. Sicky Picky!

We took the new shades for a spin around Henderson lake, as the sun kissed our curls (which we all happen to have). It painted the most wonderful mood for the rest of the week.  Seriously, ‘twas was a beaut! A perfect ending to our perfect Easter.
