Could I get my blizzard with extra oreo, please?

Well, I guess it's so true: be careful what you wish for. We just finished up November all the while complaining about the lack of snow we have had thus far. Perhaps I were just being impatient as our Christmas décor seemed so lonely with out its fluffy white friend. None the less, I spent the morning shoveling everything. Today, December 5, is Emery's estimated arrival, so we have been anxiously waiting, and planning, for our visit to the hospital. We were a little worried though, because last night it was snowning pretty hard.

This is what the snow looked like outside our door just before going to bed last night.

Not to bad, although the stair look like they could pose a later problem.

So, off we went to bed, hoping to be rudely inturupted by wonderful contractions!

I guess only some wishes come true though. We did wake up very early, but still no infant. However, we did get some more snow!!

This is where our staircase used to be.

Look at this snow!! I wanted a picture of one of us standing by it, to show how deep it really was, but there was only one photographer at this hour.

It was about 9:00am when I went out to survey my job. It only took about 45 minutes. There was a snow drift behind our car that was above our rear bumper, and the passenger side of the car was buried in snow. I should have taken pictures but I didn't want to get the camera wet. It was still blowing snow around like crazy. Anyways, it was a fun adventure. Not quite as fun as the one we have ahead of us, but still blog worthy. TTFN. We hope to have some splendid news later.
